I now know that a person can choose to be happy. Really. Every situation is what you make of it. If you want to be miserable I'm sure you'll find a bunch of people just wanting to moan and groan with you. Misery loves company. However, I truly want to be around folks that make me laugh or think or inspire me to be a better person. I don't want hang out and try to out do someone else's bad experience. I want to lift my buddies' mood! I want to inspire my team to do great things! I know we all complain sometimes. I always say I can't complain but sometimes I do anyway! I actually was driving to the race for the cure this year thinking all the way that I didn't like my new haircut. Of all things, I'm going to the Breast Cancer Walk upset about some hair that will grow back! I was so humbled once I got into the mix with so many that had come out to show their support for lost Mothers, Wives, Daughters, Aunts, Sisters, and friends. Some of the ladies out there didn't have any hair and would have been greatful to sport the style I was lamenting! I decided then and there to be grateful for all that I had and all that I did not have! I have decided to approach my life with an attitude of gratitude and CHOOSE to see the bright side and think happy and be happy! I hope you are able to see the great things in your life and say thank you for them. I hope you can choose happiness!

That's a great way of looking at things! Thanks for sharing. Losing hair is a terrible part of a women's struggle with cancer. I am a community ambassador with Pantene Beautiful Lengths. Together we are working to empower women battling cancer and help them regain their confidence. Our goal is to collect 1 million inches of hair so that we may provide wigs to women who would otherwise be unable to afford them. Please help support this amazing cause… we could use every inch of hair we can get! If you would like to donate or get more information, please visit this site: www.beautifullengths.com
